Teachers, students, Warriors, Coyotes... lend me your minds. As you are already aware, the Coyotes Team is embarking on an Interdisciplinary Unit designed to survey and make you familiar with notable contributions of African Americans in the content areas of English, Math, Social Studies, and Science. The culminating event of your work will be our trip to Chicago's DuSable Museum, where you will discover first hand many of the triumphs and achievements of African Americans across your core subject-areas. As you proceed on your Scientific Web Quest keep in mind that you should be persistent, productive, and proud. After all, a mind is a terrible thing to waste and a waste is a terrible thing to mind!!
