A free developmental check-up will be offered for children ages 3, 4, and 5 years old. The purpose of this screening is to identify children who may qualify for either our at-risk pre-kindergarten program, or for special education services. The check-up will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2010 from 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Manteno Elementary School, 555 West Cook Street, Manteno. Included will be assessments of development in concept learning, speech and language, motor coordination, self help skills and social skills.
