Welcome to the Manteno Middle School Counseling Site!
Middle School is a very important part of a child's life. Students will grow and learn a lot in these four years and I am excited to join them on this journey. I am available to help students, parents, and teachers to develop positive learning experiences and have a successful school year. I help all students in the areas of: academic achievement, personal/social development, and career development, ensuring today's students become the productive, well-adjusted adults of tomorrow.

The Center is a comprehensive outpatient-counseling agency that provides mental health counseling services and therapy to children, adolescents, and adults who live and work in Kankakee County. Helen Wheeler also provides crisis screenings for adolescents (SASS) and adults.
